Worldwide Glass Resources® is a leader in tubular vial design and manufacture. We offer a wide range of vial designs in capacities ranging from 1 to 60ml in clear and amber glass. We produce our vials in standard G.P.I. finishes and are able to produce in European and American standards to cover all customer requirements. Our products are produced to industry standard processes and specifications. All vial packaging is done under environmentally controlled conditions.
Our product range includes clear and amber vials in glass type I, as dictated by the U.S., European, and Japanese Pharmacopeias.

Caps/ Closures
Worldwide Glass Resources® stocks a large assortment of screw thread and crimp seal closures for tubular glass vials. Closures are available in a variety of sizes, liners, and colors. We maintain strong partnerships with closure manufacturers that enable us to source non-stock closures quickly and easily.
Closures are available in a variety of materials; Worldwide Glass carries many of these.
We offer both polypropylene and phenolic in lined or unlined for screw thread vials. We also offer crimp seal closures in aluminum, magnetic and pressure release styles.
Worldwide Glass Resources® offers closures in the following materials:
- Aluminum
- Magnetic closures are made of steel and are used in autosamplers with a magnetic arm.
- Phenolic is a type of thermosetting plastic material known for its physical and molding properties. Phenolic caps have strength and durability with heat-resistant and insulating properties. Excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and low moisture absorption. Maximum temperature use is 175°C, autoclaveable.
- Polypropylene (PP) is a rigid plastic that is translucent or may be tinted to provide colored material. At room temperature, polypropylene exhibits excellent chemical resistance to acids, alcohols, and bases. Compatible with acetone, ethyl acetate, methanol, isobutyl alcohol, methanol, methylene chloride, and methyl ethyl ketone. Incompatible with cyclohexane, ethers, dichlorobenzene, pentanes, and trichlorobenzene. Gas, disinfectants or autoclave are recommended to sterilize products made of polypropylene. Maximum temperature use is 135°C.
- Polyethylene (PE), further classified as low-density, is a flexible translucent plastic. At room temperature, polyethylene exhibits excellent chemical resistance to acids, alcohol, and bases. Gas, radiation or disinfectants are recommended to sterilize polyethylene. Maximum temperature use 120°C.

Inserts and Bottomed Tubes
Worldwide Glass Resources® offers a range of bottomed tubes in flat or round bottom configurations. We also manufacture vial inserts for capacity control. Our inserts come in either flat bottom or with a conical bottom, with or without a pre-installed spring. Please contact us for more information.
